Rev. Thomas Richard Gabucan
Senior Pastor
is the founding pastor of Life Joy Church International, Hong Kong. His desire is to establish an Apostolic church that possesses Abundant Life, enjoying Abiding Joy in Jesus Christ, and an Active Church proclaiming Christ to the world.
Richard has served as District Youth President of the Northern Luzon District of the United Pentecostal Church Philippines and has served as Bible School teacher of the Baguio Evangelistic Academy of Ministries, Baguio City, Philippines. He has also served as a Filipino Missionary to Hong Kong for the past 8 years.

What We Believe and Preach
​
Jesus is the only wise God; is the risen Lord from the dead; is both God and man. (1 Timothy 1:17; 1 Corinthians 15:19-21; 1 Timothy 2:5).
As man, Jesus is the Son of God who died for all of us and gave Himself a ransom for many. (Galatians 4:4; 1 Timothy 2:6)
God is one (Deuteronomy 6:4). The one true God is Father of Creation; is Holy; is Spirit; and, as the Son, God was manifest in flesh for our redemption. The Holy Ghost (Spirit) was given at Pentecost for New Covenant believers, as part of the salvation experience, to help us live a righteous life of peace and joy.
The scriptural mode of baptism is immersion, and is only for those who have fully repented, having turned from their sins and a love of the world. It should be administered by a duly authorized minister of the Gospel, in obedience to the Word of God, and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to the Acts of the Apostles 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5; thus obeying and fulfilling Matthew 28:19.
A person must be born again of water and the Spirit (John 3:3-5). He must be baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ by immersion in water for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5) in obedience and fulfillment of Matthew 28:19.
